Senior Strategic Medicare Product Manager (Medicare Advantage)

Location: Fully remote within the United States; Nashville, Tennessee is the posted location

Base pay: $102,000–$184,300 annually, plus eligibility for an annual incentive bonus.

What you will do

• Lead cross-functional teams in identifying product opportunities in emerging and complex markets.
• Develop, launch, and manage Medicare Advantage products and multi-year product strategies.
• Prepare pro formas, financial analyses, competitive intelligence, market assessments, and internal capability assessments for strategic go/no-go decisions.
• Design differentiated products using member engagement insights, clinical data, and competitive intelligence.
• Collaborate with market, finance, actuarial, digital experience, and other partners on product roadmaps and performance benchmarks.
• Support digital transformation, health equity strategies, and key vendor relationships.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Health Administration plus six years of experience in healthcare, health insurance, or strategic consulting, or 11 years of relevant experience without the degree requirement.
• Experience leading and mentoring staff, managing complex priorities, and handling a heavy workload.
• Experience in managed care product development, benefits consulting, or project management.
• Experience communicating with corporate leadership and stakeholders at all organizational levels.
• Strong organizational, detail-oriented, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Must be able to work remotely from the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Three or more years of experience with Medicare Advantage bids, including MA economics and bid requirements.
• Experience managing a product or product line from inception through launch and performance monitoring.
• Experience leading cross-functional projects, managing stakeholder relationships, and driving execution across teams.
• Strong knowledge of Medicare Advantage Star Ratings, quality programs, member outcomes, regulatory requirements, quality bonus payments, and product growth strategies.
• Experience presenting to internal and external clients and using Excel.
