Head of APAC Institutional (Investment Management)

Location: Based in Hong Kong, Singapore, or Tokyo; employees work from the office 4 days per week with flexibility to work remotely 1 day per week.

What you will do

• Develop and execute the APAC Institutional strategy across markets, client segments, and products.
• Build strategic relationships with institutional clients and support complex mandate discussions.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing regional team across APAC markets.
• Align global and regional stakeholders to deliver consistent client outcomes and servicing standards.
• Manage business results, sales targets, pipelines, headcount planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Partner with the Investment Platform on client solutions, product strategy, industry forums, and client engagements.

Requirements

• Proven track record of driving business growth and building long-term client relationships in APAC.
• Experience leading, developing, attracting, and retaining high-performing regional teams.
• Strong investment acumen and the ability to communicate market insights and cross-asset portfolios to institutional clients.
• Strategic, transformational, commercially focused, and client-centric mindset.
• Strong communication and influencing skills for working with senior stakeholders across functions and geographies.
• Excellent English communication skills and the ability to represent the firm at external client and industry forums.
