Associate Manager, Marketplace - Strategy & Operations (Ecommerce)

Salary: $105,400–$155,000 USD per year, plus potential equity grants.

What you will do

• Own a portfolio of projects designed to grow the core US Marketplace business.
• Identify strategic growth opportunities and develop plans for new markets and customer or merchant segments.
• Incubate undefined 0-to-1 initiatives by scoping opportunities, testing assumptions, and recommending whether to scale or stop them.
• Design and run operational experiments that produce measurable outcomes and inform implementation roadmaps.
• Analyze operational and financial impact using self-generated data analysis.
• Collaborate with product, analytics, marketing, sales, and finance partners to resource and launch initiatives.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in consulting, technology, banking, or a similar problem-solving role.
• Completed bachelor’s degree.
• Strong analytical and data-driven problem-solving skills.
• Ability to independently analyze data in Excel or Google Sheets; SQL experience is strongly preferred.
• Experience solving undefined problems, influencing cross-functional partners, and driving results without direct authority.
• Ability to work from one of the listed US locations.

Nice to have

• Experience taking an initiative from 0 to 1.
• SQL experience.
