What you will do

• Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems, control systems, subsystems, and related equipment.
• Install power supply wiring, conduit, switchgear, motor controls, panels, CT cabinets, lighting, and power supplies.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and customer specifications.
• Test electrical systems and circuit continuity using ohmmeters, voltmeters, oscilloscopes, and other electronic test equipment.
• Inspect and diagnose systems and components, identify hazards or defects, and perform preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Work independently, analyze technical problems, make decisions with minimal supervision, and communicate issues to management.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Five years of commercial or industrial electrical experience.
• Documentation of a completed electrician apprenticeship program.
• Demonstrated knowledge and skills sufficient to perform the required duties, including electrical theory and circuitry.
• Ability to maintain a government security clearance.
• Ability to pass background and drug screening.

Nice to have

• Previous military or government logistics experience.
• Calista shareholder, descendant, spouse of a Calista shareholder, or shareholder of an eligible Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act corporation.
