Retail Business Analyst

Location: Monroe, MI, United States. Office environment; up to 15% travel may be required.

What you will do

• Identify, document, and manage business requirements, workflows, rules, and functional specifications.
• Lead design, configuration, testing, training, deployment, and support for strategic IT projects throughout the SDLC.
• Develop functional designs covering data models, system interfaces, and security requirements, and obtain stakeholder approval.
• Create and manage system and user acceptance test plans, scenarios, execution, documentation, and issue resolution.
• Provide first- and second-level production support, including analysis and resolution of ServiceNow incidents.
• Act as a liaison between business users and IT, contribute to process improvements, and mentor less experienced Business Analysts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field, with 2–4 years of relevant experience.
• Experience working with technical staff and business process owners, managing multiple complex tasks, and working independently.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities, teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated experience as a Project Manager.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Visio, SQL, and business process modeling.
• Ability to work in an office environment in Monroe, Michigan and travel up to 15%.

Nice to have

• Certified Business Analyst Professional certification.
• Experience with MS SQL.
