Dual Enrollment Support Specialist (Education)

Location: Delano, California, USA; on-campus role

Pay: $25.00–$32.62 per hour

What you will do

• Provide academic and behavioral support to students enrolled in on-campus college courses.
• Coordinate with professors, instructors, teachers, counselors, and school leadership to plan instructional tasks and interventions.
• Monitor attendance, behavior, engagement, and academic progress through case management and tracking tools.
• Develop individualized learning and support plans to help students master college coursework independently.
• Communicate with students, families, and staff through phone calls, home connections, progress updates, and community events.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, organized classroom environment and participate in professional learning, meetings, committees, and school activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and substitute permit required.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Technology proficiency and ability to use instructional media.
• Ability to analyze academic and behavioral data and adjust student support strategies.
• Ability to build tactful, courteous, and confidential relationships with students, families, staff, and community members.
• Availability Monday to Friday, 7:45 a.m.–4:15 p.m., for on-campus work.
