Engineering Manager (AI)

Location: Hybrid work from the Minneapolis, Chicago, or New York office on set days each week, with remote work available on other days. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Salary: $90,000–$132,000 annualized, inclusive of an annual bonus; annual bonus potential up to 20% of base salary.

What you will do

• Lead sprint planning, backlog refinement, delivery ceremonies, capacity planning, and iterative delivery practices.
• Mentor and coach engineering team members through feedback, 1:1s, and stretch opportunities.
• Guide the development and maintenance of scalable software and data solutions for media measurement and optimization.
• Partner with Product Managers, Product Owners, QA, IT, Infosec, and stakeholders to translate business goals into technical direction.
• Drive standards for code quality, documentation, testing, maintainability, deployment discipline, reliability, security, and compliance.
• Champion responsible AI-assisted development practices that improve velocity while protecting quality and security.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in computer science, software engineering, or another technical discipline.
• Experience leading high-performing cross-functional technical teams, including lead engineers.
• Experience mentoring team members, collaborating with product owners and stakeholders, and communicating with non-technical decision-makers.
• Experience with at least one major programming language such as JavaScript, Python, or Java.
• Familiarity with web technologies, SQL, GitHub, cloud environments, DevOps practices, Agile/Scrum, scaled Agile frameworks, and the product development lifecycle.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future need for visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Experience with or strong interest in agentic AI technologies.
• Experience with marketing APIs or automated data pulls from marketing platforms.
• Client-facing or consultative experience and familiarity with modern web APIs and full-stack frameworks.
• Experience influencing engineering budgets and investment decisions.
