Senior Water Conveyance Project Manager (Water/Wastewater Infrastructure): Leading the planning, design, construction, and commissioning of water towers, pump stations, conveyance pipelines, and gravity sewers with an accent on technical leadership, project delivery, and client relationships. Focus on managing multidisciplinary teams, controlling scope and risk, mentoring staff, and supporting business development across the Houston water and wastewater market.
Location: Houston, Texas office with a hybrid schedule including up to 40% remote work

What you will do
- Lead the full lifecycle of water and wastewater projects, including water towers, pump stations, conveyance pipelines, and gravity sewers.
- Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, quality, risks, and regulatory requirements.
- Provide technical oversight for multidisciplinary design teams and subconsultants, including review of calculations, plans, specifications, and technical memoranda.
- Serve as the primary client contact and support relationship management, business development, and proposal efforts.
- Lead, mentor, and develop project managers, engineers, and other staff.
- Represent the firm through industry organizations and professional conferences.
Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Texas Professional Engineer (P.E.) license or ability to obtain it within six months.
- 10+ years of relevant water/wastewater engineering and project management experience.
- Experience delivering municipal water/wastewater projects in Texas, including treatment, conveyance, and pump stations.
- Strong technical, leadership, communication, client relationship, and business development skills.
- Willingness to travel up to 10% may be required.
Nice to have
- Masterβs degree in Engineering.
- Established relationships with Houston-area utilities, municipalities, or clients.
- Experience with process piping design or engine-driven pump stations.
- Familiarity with design-build or CMAR delivery.
- 15+ years of relevant experience and active participation in professional associations.
