Senior Water Conveyance Project Manager

Location: Houston, Texas office with a hybrid schedule including up to 40% remote work

What you will do

• Lead the full lifecycle of water and wastewater projects, including water towers, pump stations, conveyance pipelines, and gravity sewers.
• Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, quality, risks, and regulatory requirements.
• Provide technical oversight for multidisciplinary design teams and subconsultants, including review of calculations, plans, specifications, and technical memoranda.
• Serve as the primary client contact and support relationship management, business development, and proposal efforts.
• Lead, mentor, and develop project managers, engineers, and other staff.
• Represent the firm through industry organizations and professional conferences.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Texas Professional Engineer (P.E.) license or ability to obtain it within six months.
• 10+ years of relevant water/wastewater engineering and project management experience.
• Experience delivering municipal water/wastewater projects in Texas, including treatment, conveyance, and pump stations.
• Strong technical, leadership, communication, client relationship, and business development skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% may be required.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Engineering.
• Established relationships with Houston-area utilities, municipalities, or clients.
• Experience with process piping design or engine-driven pump stations.
• Familiarity with design-build or CMAR delivery.
• 15+ years of relevant experience and active participation in professional associations.
