What you will do

• Handle employment litigation matters largely independently.
• Work directly with client representatives and opposing counsel.
• Conduct legal research and draft legal memoranda, motions, pleadings, position statements, and dispositive motions.
• Attend court conferences and manage discovery-related activities.
• Conduct and oversee employment-related investigations.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor and active, good-standing license to practice law in Oregon required.
• 10+ years of employment litigation experience required.
• Experience may be from an in-house legal department or law firm.
• Excellent analytical and writing skills.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Candidates licensed in another state may be considered if interested in relocating to the Pacific Northwest and able to meet continuing licensure requirements.
