Game Writer/Translator II (Casino Gaming)

Location: Drummondville, Québec, Canada; onsite role with possible local, national, or international travel.

What you will do

• Produce and oversee game text content and documentation from the production workflow through QA approval.
• Write, maintain, and translate project documentation and content in English and French.
• Collaborate with game development, QA, and project management teams to apply documentation standards and certification requirements.
• Guide game studios on documentation processes, descriptive materials, graphic help pages, validation, and QA tickets.
• Validate game text, rules, language, and tone for the casino gaming industry.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, college diploma, or relevant experience.
• 5+ years of professional writing and translation experience.
• Excellent English writing skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills in French and English.
• Ability to explain complex game mechanics clearly and completely.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, time management, interpersonal, and adaptability skills.
• Comfort using computer-assisted translation tools, AI tools, website translation plug-ins, Office, and Teams.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Easy Redmine, Jira, or similar management software.
• Experience in a game development environment.
• Knowledge of the casino game industry.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
