TL;DR
Cloud Architect (Azure/AWS): Designing and implementing enterprise-scale cloud solutions for mission-critical systems with an accent on scalability, security, cloud migration, and hybrid architectures. Focus on leading software teams, building DevOps pipelines, modernizing legacy infrastructure, and integrating Kubernetes, APIs, and emerging AI-assistive capabilities.
Location: 100% remote within the United States; the role is associated with Georgia, United States.
Salary: USD $105,000–$115,000 per year.

What you will do
- Architect enterprise cloud applications and systems using Azure and/or AWS, applying modern patterns for scalability, security, and mission alignment.
- Lead developers, cloud engineers, designers, and testers through the full software development lifecycle and Agile sprint delivery.
- Build DevOps pipelines and automated build, test, and deployment workflows for cloud and containerized applications.
- Modernize legacy applications and infrastructure through cloud migration, refactoring, and hybrid or container-based architectures such as Kubernetes.
- Advise clients and stakeholders on cloud strategy, technical options, tools, and architectural standards.
- Expand cloud capabilities through modern integration solutions and large-scale API integrations.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software development experience.
- 5+ years of experience with Azure Logic Apps, Tibco and/or MuleSoft, and SAP HANA.
- 5+ years of experience architecting or designing cloud-based systems.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Azure and/or Amazon Web Services; experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP cloud development, migration, or implementation.
- Experience leading software development or DevOps efforts in a technical leadership role.
- Bachelor’s degree, ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination, and successful completion of background and drug screening.
