Intern - Reference Architecture & Design

Location: Beijing, Hangzhou, or Shenzhen, China preferred; other China locations considered for exceptional candidates. Travel up to 10%.

What you will do

• Support the design and documentation of reference architectures for Seagate storage solutions.
• Compare power, performance, cost, and total cost of ownership against alternative storage solutions.
• Collect, organize, and analyze technical data from laboratory and customer environments.
• Track tests, collect results, and help improve design efficiency and readiness.
• Build reusable templates and datasets for maintaining and sharing reference designs.
• Translate technical findings into product requirements, roadmap input, and solution materials while collaborating with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success.

Requirements

• Current Bachelor's or Master's student in computer science, electrical or computer engineering, systems, or a related technical field.
• Interest in storage systems, cloud infrastructure, or AI infrastructure architecture.
• Solid analytical and technical documentation skills, with comfort working with technical data and specifications.
• Fluent Mandarin and professional English required.
• Detail-oriented, collaborative, and eager to learn from senior engineers and customers.
