Digital Product Manager (Engineering Platforms)

Location: Wyoming, Minnesota, USA; hybrid work with 3 days in-office and 2 days remote

Salary: $126,000–$166,000 per year

What you will do

• Own the vision, strategy, and multi-horizon roadmap for PLM Design capabilities supporting the full product lifecycle.
• Transform engineering workflows from traditional 2D drawings toward Model-Based Product Development and Model-Based Definition.
• Lead product discovery, requirements definition, backlog management, prioritization, roadmap reviews, quarterly planning, and KPI reporting.
• Provide product leadership for PTC Windchill capabilities, including 3D EBOM, MBOM, and SBOM structures, configuration management, versioning, traceability, and engineering change processes.
• Partner with software engineering and platform teams on upgrades, scalability, performance, reliability, security, environment strategy, data governance, and product data quality.
• Drive adoption through training, communications, champion networks, rollout waves, usage measurement, stakeholder alignment, and vendor management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Industrial Design, Business, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in IT or Engineering, with 5+ years in Product Management in complex enterprise environments.
• Recent experience supporting Model-Based Definition transformation and practical MBD enablement.
• Demonstrated experience with PTC engineering systems, Windchill-based PLM capabilities, product lifecycle processes, and CAD/PDM integrations such as Creo.
• Experience with Agile delivery, product roadmaps, backlogs, prioritization, data migration readiness, data cleansing, validation, and cutover strategies.
• Must work in the hybrid model: 3 days in-office and 2 days remote. Visa sponsorship is not available.
