Architecture Senior Advisor (AI)

Location: Bloomfield, Connecticut, United States; hybrid work schedule

Salary: $147,430–$231,000 per year. A second compensation statement lists $138,600–$231,000 annually, plus eligibility for an annual bonus plan.

What you will do

• Lead technical planning, solution design, and architecture reviews in line with enterprise standards.
• Design scalable and secure microservices, backend services, RESTful APIs, integration layers, and AI-based solutions.
• Collaborate with product, architecture, infrastructure, and technology teams to enable interoperability.
• Provide technical leadership through development, including code reviews, performance optimization, and deployment strategies.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and integrate appropriate solutions into existing systems.
• Ensure regulatory and security compliance while improving architectural practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or a related field with 5 years of experience in software development and systems architecture, or a master’s degree with 3 years of experience.
• Experience managing software development cycles and requirements gathering through deployment.
• Experience designing and implementing microservices, backend services, secure RESTful APIs, and system integrations using Python, C#, Node.js, and Java.
• Experience with AWS or Azure, DevOps and CI/CD pipelines, Agile delivery, version control, and enterprise collaboration tools.
• Experience applying architecture principles and design patterns for scalability, maintainability, and performance.
• Experience implementing OAuth, SAML, Active Directory, secure authentication and authorization, and AI-based solutions and workflows.
