Supervisor QC (Medical Devices): Overseeing quality control functions, personnel, product inspection, disposition, and release activities at a designated distribution center with an accent on regulatory compliance, employee supervision, and quality systems. Focus on training inspectors on QSR and pharmacy regulations, reviewing work accuracy, managing schedules, and supporting compliance across Quality, Regulatory, and Operations.
Location: Perryville, Maryland, United States; onsite, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Salary: $79,000–$119,000 annual, plus bonus and/or incentive eligibility

What you will do
- Oversee Quality Control functions and personnel at the designated distribution center.
- Manage product inspection, disposition, holding, and release activities.
- Lead daily employee activities, assign work, monitor progress, review accuracy, and provide technical guidance.
- Manage performance, attendance, monthly bonuses, employee reviews, and input into hiring and termination decisions.
- Prioritize schedules, arrange overtime, and maintain communication with Branch Management.
- Train branch inspectors and support Quality, Regulatory, and Operations with regulatory compliance.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of Quality Control or similar experience, including experience in medical device or drug manufacturing.
- Intermediate understanding of FDA, Quality System Regulation, and ISO 13485 guidelines.
- Intermediate knowledge of ANSI/ASQC Z1.4 and skills in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, work in hot and cold environments and at heights, and frequently bend and kneel.
- Availability to travel from state to state occasionally.
Nice to have
- Associate degree or technical certification.
- Supervisory or management experience.
- Experience operating material handling equipment.
- Knowledge of Quality System Regulations and medical devices.
