Director of Digital Product (Engineering Platforms)

Location: Hybrid in Medina or Wyoming, Minnesota, USA; 3 days in-office and 2 days remote. On-site days may vary based on business needs.

Salary: $184,000–$225,000 per year.

What you will do

• Define and own the enterprise digital product strategy for engineering platforms, including PLM, ALM, CAD, and supporting capabilities.
• Establish multi-year product visions, roadmaps, governance, funding models, and investment strategies.
• Manage the health and performance of the engineering digital product portfolio, including adoption, cost efficiency, productivity, quality, and time-to-market.
• Enable the digital thread from CAD-driven engineering BOMs through manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and service.
• Advance systems engineering, MBSE, PLM, ALM, CAD, virtual build, virtual testing, MBD, and platform-based product development.
• Lead product leaders, make cross-domain prioritization decisions, and collaborate with architecture, cybersecurity, infrastructure, engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and external partners.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 15+ years of progressive experience across technology, engineering systems, and business strategy in complex enterprise environments.
• 7+ years of senior product leadership experience owning enterprise platforms or digital product portfolios.
• Deep experience with PLM, ALM, CAD, and related engineering platforms; PTC experience is strongly preferred.
• Experience delivering enterprise-scale product strategies, transformation initiatives, portfolio governance, value-based investment, and ROI measurement.
• This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Experience in engineering, manufacturing, automotive, powersports, aerospace, or industrial products.
• Leadership in digital engineering transformation involving MBD, virtual testing, and configuration-driven development.
• Experience with SAFe or Scrum@Scale and thought leadership in digital engineering, PLM, or enterprise platforms.
