Senior Insurance Pricing Analyst

Location: Fully remote within the United States or hybrid based in the Bethesda, MD office.

Annual salary: $100,450–$212,175.

What you will do

• Support pricing initiatives across Commercial, Personal Umbrella, Motorcycle, Recreational Vehicle, and Boat insurance lines.
• Evaluate market and environmental changes, business performance, pricing strategies, and customer segmentation opportunities.
• Monitor expected loss ratio performance and rate indication trends.
• Lead actuarial analyses, including trend selections, rate indications, and rate filing support.
• Communicate analytical findings and recommendations to business stakeholders and leadership.
• Serve as a pricing subject matter expert while supervising, mentoring, and developing junior team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Finance, Economics, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent experience.
• 3–7 years of relevant actuarial, pricing, analytics, or related experience.
• Experience conducting statistical analyses and applying quantitative and qualitative methods to business problems.
• Working knowledge of actuarial pricing principles and methodologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, critical-thinking, organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.
