What you will do
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, mental status examinations, and diagnostic interviews.
- Diagnose and treat mental health disorders using evidence-based practices.
- Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications.
- Support behavioral health emergency services, IOP, and PHP programs.
- Educate patients about mental health conditions and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with psychiatrists and healthcare professionals while documenting care accurately in EPIC.
Requirements
- Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner qualification.
- Experience providing psychiatric care in an inpatient setting; 2+ years preferred.
- Ability to conduct psychiatric assessments, diagnose disorders, manage medications, and document patient care.
- Work onsite in Nashua, New Hampshire.
- Availability for a Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. shift.
