Senior Traffic Engineer (Transportation Engineering): Leading traffic impact studies, operational analyses, corridor studies, forecasts, modeling, and technical reports for transportation planning and design projects with an accent on safety, operations, mobility, and integrated multimodal solutions. Focus on coordinating with agencies and design teams, reviewing technical work, and mentoring junior traffic engineers.
Location: Hybrid role based in the Greenville, Columbia, or Raleigh offices, with up to 40% remote work.

is an infrastructure planning and design firm working on water supplies, roadways, bridges, natural disaster preparedness, and other community infrastructure projects.
What you will do
- Lead traffic impact studies, operational analyses, and corridor studies.
- Prepare traffic forecasts, traffic models, and technical reports.
- Collaborate with transportation planners and design teams on integrated solutions.
- Support agency coordination and technical reviews.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior traffic engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- 6+ years of traffic engineering experience.
Nice to have
- Experience supporting DOT or public-sector transportation projects.
- Background in multimodal or corridor-level studies.
