Senior Operations Specialist, Engineering Testing (Robotics)

What you will do

• Lead live testing across transport, deployment, and safety validation for autonomous technologies.
• Partner with hardware, software, and business operations teams to validate product capabilities.
• Conduct and document complex tests, evaluate robot behavior, identify defects, and validate features and requirements.
• Exercise technical judgment during testing by assessing operational risk and determining when engineering escalation or additional validation is required.
• Develop testing processes, protocols, and checklists that improve product safety, efficiency, and reliability.
• Analyze logs, investigate issues, track work through resolution, and prepare reports with trends and strategic recommendations.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience, or an equivalent strong background, in autonomous vehicle, robotics, or complex systems testing in a live operational environment.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex system behavior, exercise sound technical judgment, and make decisions in dynamic real-world scenarios.
• Experience partnering with engineering teams to investigate issues, communicate technical findings, and influence product improvements.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for documenting findings and presenting technical recommendations.
• Experience with Linux, GitHub, Jira, Jenkins, or similar tools.
• Ability to work in one of the listed California locations and perform live operational testing.
