Location: Mississauga, Ontario, Canada
Salary: CAD 55,000–65,000 per year

What you will do
- Translate documents, correspondence, and other materials from English to French and from French to English.
- Translate legal documents, marketing materials, internal communications, management reports, presentations, and client correspondence.
- Translate software for assigned projects.
- Review documents translated internally and externally.
- Maintain consistent terminology and ensure accurate transfer of meaning between languages.
- Manage multiple assignments and changing priorities in a high-volume environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in translation or equivalent related work experience.
- Superior verbal and written communication skills in English and French.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with terminology databases such as TERMIUM Plus and the Grand dictionnaire terminologique.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and meet short deadlines.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to work professionally with others.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of technical terminology used in the Life Insurance and Mutual Fund industries.
- Membership in a registered professional translation organization such as ATIO or OTTIAQ.
