Quality Assurance Representative (Aerospace)

hirify.global provides quality support for Government operations under the CHARLES contract.

What you will do

• Support the Government with quality functions for the CHARLES contract.
• Perform acceptance and receiving inspections, including dimensional inspections and validation of Certificates of Conformance.
• Identify discrepancies and non-conformances, initiate corrective actions, and track resolutions through closure.
• Map maintenance process inputs and outputs and conduct process reviews, assessments, and system inspections.
• Establish inspection requirements for supplier-manufactured items and Commercial-Off-The-Shelf materials.
• Perform AS9100, AS9110, Contractors Operating Manual, and Statement of Work compliance audits.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of experience as an aircraft inspector or collateral duty inspector for fixed-wing commercial, government, or DoD aircraft.
• Technical experience with aircraft structural, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• General knowledge of AS9100 or AS9110 audit, surveillance, and monitoring requirements.
• Understanding of weight and balance performance, maintenance documentation, schematics, engineering drawings, and maintenance manuals.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Government Security Clearance.

Nice to have

• FAA Airplane and/or Powerplant certification.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office Suite skills and knowledge of advanced software applications.
