Blackstone Real Estate Debt Strategies (BREDS) Valuations and Investment Modeling, AVP (Real Estate)

Location: New York, United States

Expected annual base salary: $130,000–$200,000, plus discretionary bonuses and potentially equity or other incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Calculate mark-to-market estimates and projected fund returns for real estate debt and other credit instruments.
• Execute the valuation control framework, including auditor and third-party provider communication and independent valuation verification.
• Maintain fund models supporting investment-level return expectations and long-term financial projections.
• Prepare periodic analytics and scenario analyses covering loan maturities, capital markets activity, business performance, and future results.
• Support earnings release materials, management presentations, and marketing-related schedules and exhibits.
• Coach junior professionals and collaborate with Investment, Asset Management, Investor Relations, Fund Accounting, and other internal stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 6+ years of valuation experience at a public accounting firm, third-party valuation provider, investment bank, or asset manager.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
• Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Progress toward a finance-related qualification such as CFA or CPA is preferred.
• Financial services and/or real estate experience is preferred.
