Psychologist

Location: Onsite at a Health Center in Sunnyvale, California, United States. Full-time schedule consists of either five 8-hour shifts or four 10-hour shifts between 8:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Salary: $143,200–$179,000 annually.

What you will do

• Provide psychotherapy and counseling to individuals, groups, couples, and families.
• Assess, diagnose, and address psychological, emotional, and behavioral issues using interviews, screeners, records, and reference materials.
• Conduct psychological assessments and apply evidence-based interventions, including CBT, ACT, DBT, EMDR, Written Exposure Therapy, and CAMS where appropriate.
• Help clients define treatment goals, gain insight, and develop personal, social, educational, and vocational adjustment strategies.
• Support clients dealing with stress, substance abuse, depression, mood disorders, family situations, grief, and loss.
• Collaborate with the clinical care team on consultation, case management, care coordination, and referrals.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in clinical psychology required; a PhD or PsyD may be required depending on state regulations or scope of practice.
• Advanced degree and an active license to practice clinical psychology required.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience required, including treatment of mental health conditions in adults and children.
• Experience in crisis management, abuse reporting, cultural competence, suicidal behavior prevention and treatment, and patient referral management required.
• Collaborative Assessment and Management of Suicidality (CAMS) certification must be obtained within 12 months of hire.

Nice to have

• Clinical experience in integrated behavioral health settings.
