Manufacturing Bioprocess Technician

Location: Vacaville, California, United States; fully site-based

Salary: $43,000–$69,000 base annual salary, plus a performance-related bonus

What you will do

• Operate and maintain production systems in a cGMP environment and support inspection readiness.
• Participate in mammalian cell culture production across upstream processes, including seed train, media preparation, fermentation, and harvest.
• Support downstream processes such as buffer preparation, chromatography, and filtration.
• Dispense components, handle hazardous materials, and clean and sterilize equipment and fixed tank systems.
• Manage inventory and process records while following safety, environmental, regulatory, and SOP requirements.
• Use automated production systems, resolve process issues, and support Right-First-Time operations through accurate documentation.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate, bachelor's, or other relevant degree in biological sciences, physical sciences, or engineering preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, regulated manufacturing environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate documentation practices.
• Ability to implement solutions to process issues.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
