Escrow Officer (In Office)

Pay: $26.88–$35.83 hourly

What you will do

• Provide customer service and grow the escrow business.
• Complete simple and complex real estate escrow transactions as a neutral liaison between buyers, sellers, and lenders.
• Work with Underwriting to monitor and mitigate company risk.
• Account for and disburse funds according to contract terms.
• Review, record, and file closing documents; prepare final closing statements and title documentation.
• Prepare escrow status reports and legal documents while meeting regulatory and transaction deadlines.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of escrow-related experience, preferably in homebuilder transactions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to work with proprietary programs and adapt to new software and technologies.
• Escrow officer certification may be required depending on the state.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
