Registered Dietitian Nutritionist

Location: hirify.global Athletics; in-person duties include fueling station management, practices, competitions, training camps, and team travel.

Salary: $28.417 per hour, commensurate with experience, education, and qualifications.

hirify.global’s Office of Student Engagement supports student-athlete health, wellness, recovery, and performance through Bobcat Athletics.

What you will do

• Lead and manage the Athletics Sports Nutrition Program for 15 NCAA Division 1 sports programs, rodeo, and spirit squad programs.
• Provide individualized nutrition assessments, counseling, medical nutrition therapy, and education for approximately 400 student-athletes.
• Develop sport-specific plans covering fueling, hydration, recovery, competition, travel, supplementation, and sleep.
• Manage the Fieldhouse and BAC fueling stations, including purchasing, inventory, vendor relations, food safety, stocking, and distribution of supplements.
• Coordinate nutrition support with coaches, athletic trainers, physicians, strength and conditioning staff, and other performance professionals.
• Supervise graduate assistants, interns, and student employees while evaluating program outcomes and contributing to budgets and strategic planning.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition or a related field.
• Registered Dietitian credential through the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
• Experience developing and delivering nutrition programs for sports teams and educating coaches, staff, and student-athletes.
• Experience managing staff and a nutrition or fueling station budget.
• Strong written communication, customer service, collaboration, attention to detail, and ethical judgment.
• Current RDN credentials, licensure, and professional competencies must be maintained.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Nutrition or a related field.
• National Strength and Conditioning Certification, such as CSCS or CSCCA.
• Food service experience.
• Experience in an NCAA Division 1 nutrition program.
• Knowledge of NCAA and Big Sky Conference rules and regulations.
