Servicing Manager (Fintech)

Location: Cincinnati, OH, United States; onsite

Salary: $115,000–$140,000 per year, plus discretionary bonus targets of 10% cash and 10% restricted stock units.

What you will do

• Oversee and perform daily equipment lease and loan funding releases, cash receipt review, cash application, and general ledger activity.
• Process and review returned payments, refunds, payoffs, advanced payment ledger activity, suspense accounts, and vendor billing.
• Research and resolve complex payment, contract rate, and account variances as the escalation point for the team.
• Manage syndication support, including fund transfers, payoff and clawback tracking, and late-fee remittances.
• Assign and prioritize workload, train and coach servicing staff, and maintain high standards for accuracy and timeliness.
• Evaluate and lead the adoption of AI-enabled tools and automation for cash application, variance review, reporting, and other servicing processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, or 7–10 years of relevant financial services operations experience, including at least 2 years in a lead or supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of equipment lease and loan servicing, including funding, cash application, lockbox processing, and ACH/EFT payments.
• Experience leading, supervising, or coaching a servicing or operations team.
• Proficiency with general ledger and financial systems such as Microsoft Dynamics, plus advanced spreadsheet skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and deadline-management skills, with an understanding of accounting and general ledger concepts.
