Legal & Compliance - Real Estate, VP

Expected annual base salary: $165,000–$250,000

What you will do

• Support real estate funds as a liaison between fund formation attorneys, transaction attorneys, and the Real Estate Legal and Compliance team.
• Draft and review private placement memoranda and manage outside fund counsel during production.
• Review investor side letter provisions and coordinate AML reviews with US and Luxembourg teams.
• Prepare and maintain fund-specific policies and procedures covering excuse rights, transfers, redemptions, NAV, and valuation.
• Oversee compliance for acquisitions and dispositions, investor transfers, fund obligations, and investment limitations.
• Coordinate regulatory filings, annual compliance meetings, cross-functional reviews, and the work of junior team members.

Requirements

• Minimum of six years of relevant experience.
• JD preferred.
• Experience independently managing multiple workstreams.
• Strong judgment, initiative, creativity, drive, attention to detail, and process orientation.
• Ability to collaborate with legal, compliance, acquisitions, asset management, client solutions, tax, finance, and outside counsel teams.
