Compliance Analyst

Location: Boston, MA, United States; hybrid schedule with office attendance four days a week and remote work one day a week.

Base salary: USD 80,000–150,000 per year, plus potential bonus, incentives, and benefits.

What you will do

• Support the compliance program for Wellington Funds Distributors Inc., a limited-purpose broker-dealer.
• Maintain policies and procedures covering broker-dealer and sales and marketing activities.
• Support registration processes for broker-dealer representatives.
• Assist with compliance testing of broker-dealer and marketing procedures and practices.
• Support regulatory training for client-facing personnel and respond to regulatory inquiries or examinations.
• Monitor regulatory changes, industry trends, and relevant business developments.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of relevant broker-dealer compliance experience.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience with data analysis tools.
• Ability to manage multiple initiatives, with a proactive, self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented approach.
• Strong written and oral communication skills, intellectual curiosity, and ability to connect details across issues.

Nice to have

• FINRA designations such as SIE, Series 7, or Series 24.
• Familiarity with FINRA rules, the Investment Advisers Act, and regulations relevant to US sales and marketing activities.
