What you will do
- Research, design, plan, develop, code, and evaluate advanced technologies.
- Develop features and functionality for Comcast Technology Solutions' commercial CDN offering.
- Expand the Traffic Operations portion of the Apache Traffic Control platform.
- Build self-service APIs and additional platform features.
- Translate customer requirements and strategic business objectives into final product designs.
- Collaborate with engineering, marketing, customer service, and engineering support on designs, project plans, and product launches.
Requirements
- Senior or principal-level product development engineering experience, equivalent to Engineer 4 or Engineer 5.
- Experience with TCP/IP and CDN development.
- Ability to review the Apache Traffic Control team's code and documentation.
- Experience developing APIs and platform functionality.
