’s Office of Student Engagement is a public higher education organization; this role supports the College of Education, Health & Human Development.
What you will do
- Lead strategic fiscal planning, budget development, management, and analysis for the college.
- Develop policies, practices, and documentation for budgets, financial planning, and fiscal operations.
- Coordinate budget management with the central Budget Office and college leadership.
- Align staffing needs and financial resources with Fiscal Shared Services and the Human Resource Business Partner.
- Train and oversee budget-related work by Business Operations Managers and the Grant Management team.
- Manage course, program, and service fees, strategic allocations, one-time funds, financial compliance, and capital equipment sustainability planning.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field, plus three years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience developing, analyzing, and executing complex budgets and long-range fiscal management plans.
- Ability to interpret, explain, and present detailed budget and fiscal data verbally and in writing.
- Proficiency with spreadsheet, database query, word processing, and financial modeling software.
- Strong decision-making, communication, organization, confidentiality, attention to detail, and prioritization skills.
Nice to have
- Experience in higher education.
- Experience with Banner or other budget and fiscal management applications.
- Experience with Windows, Excel, Access, Word, and Outlook.
