What you will do
- Provide emergency and first aid care to guests and employees.
- Assist with overseeing Health Services Unit operations and communicating case and operational updates to supervisors and department management.
- Mentor new and existing staff on service standards and established protocols.
- Ensure injury and illness reports are thorough, interventions are appropriate, and follow-ups are completed.
- Adjust schedules and assignments proactively based on operational needs.
Requirements
- Current state registration or license as a Registered Nurse, Paramedic, or EMT.
- At least two years of active clinical experience in an EMS system or hospital setting.
- Ability to complete Health Care Provider CPR training and certification.
- Strong written and verbal communication, organizational, multitasking, and independent working skills.
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in changing weather and temperature conditions, around water, heights, noise, chemicals, fumes, dust, odors, vibrations, and motion.
- Ability to carry a 35-pound bag throughout the park, stand for long periods, use protective gear, and work varying shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Nice to have
- Experience with OSHA programs, vaccines, workers' compensation case management, emergency care, or triage.
- At least one year of leadership or team supervision experience.
- At least one year of experience in a Health Services Department.
- Microsoft Office proficiency and a valid state driver's license.
