Injection Mold Manufacturing Engineer

What you will do

• Develop, validate, document, and optimize injection molding processes for powersports components.
• Coordinate mold trials and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment and process issues.
• Create work instructions, standard operating procedures, labor standards, workstation layouts, and setup methods.
• Analyze manufacturing methods to improve productivity, quality, material flow, process capability, and cost efficiency.
• Define tooling and fixturing requirements and collaborate with tooling designers, operations, design engineering, and suppliers.
• Prepare capital equipment justifications, support budgeting, and evaluate make-versus-buy decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least 3 years of manufacturing engineering experience in a production or industrial environment.
• Experience leading and managing engineering or technical manufacturing employees, including coaching and development support.
• Experience conducting labor studies and establishing manufacturing standards and workstation layouts.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, tooling, fixturing, equipment support, documentation, analysis, and reporting tools.
• This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Master Molder certification or comparable advanced injection molding training.
