Quality Analyst (Temporary)

Location: Onsite in Tecomán, Colima, Mexico; rotating morning, afternoon, and night shifts on a 6 days on / 2 days off schedule.

What you will do

• Perform analytical evaluations of raw materials, packaging materials, intermediates, and finished products.
• Execute pass/fail determinations using defined controls and conduct confirmatory testing for non-conforming analyses.
• Prepare analytical documentation and accurately record data in systems and databases.
• Verify, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment; prepare solutions and reagents and manage laboratory supplies.
• Provide reliable analytical information to internal and external customers.
• Participate in quality alerts, training, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Food Chemistry, or a related field.
• Knowledge of analytical techniques and laboratory practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; SAP knowledge is a plus.
• Basic to intermediate English proficiency.
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, communication, teamwork, organization, and results orientation.
• Availability for rotating shifts, including nights, with a 6 days on / 2 days off schedule.

• Experience in quality analysis or production processes.
• Experience in food, ingredients, or manufacturing environments.
• Familiarity with quality systems and laboratory standards.
