Consultant Environmental Scientist (Water Services Team)

Location: Sydney, New South Wales, Australia; regular field work, including at remote locations.

What you will do

• Participate regularly in field work, including assignments in remote locations.
• Support contaminated land and water projects through soil, gas, groundwater, sediment, and surface water sampling.
• Conduct field investigations and interpret environmental data.
• Prepare accurate, objective-driven written reports.
• Coordinate project planning and delivery with internal and external clients and subcontractors.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in an environmental consultancy.
• Tertiary qualification in Environmental Science, Environmental Management, or a related discipline.
• Working knowledge of relevant Queensland and New South Wales environmental legislation.
• Working knowledge of international closure standards and guidelines, as well as Australian state-based environmental legislation and policies.
