Associate Investment Grade Credit Research I (Credit Analysis/Fixed Income): Conducting independent fundamental credit research on non-financial issuers and assessing the relative value of bonds in support of portfolio strategy and return objectives with an accent on financial statement analysis, issuer expertise, and risk/return evaluation. Focus on developing investment recommendations, communicating credit strengths and risks to portfolio managers and traders, and using technology and data science to improve research processes.

What you will do
- Conduct independent fundamental credit research on assigned non-financial industries and issuers.
- Monitor industry dynamics, profitability and cash-flow drivers, technological risks, and other market opportunities.
- Analyze financial statements, financial policy, management track records, credit ratings, and other quantitative and qualitative factors.
- Assess the relative value of issuers and bonds against comparable securities and provide risk/return-based investment recommendations.
- Write concise research and present credit strengths, risks, and recommendations to portfolio managers and traders.
- Maintain relationships with Wall Street analysts, strategists, rating agencies, research firms, and company management while leading technology- and data-driven process improvements.
Requirements
- Two to five years of relevant credit analysis experience in a non-financials sector.
- Strong understanding of relative value in a total-return mandate.
- Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in finance, accounting, economics, statistics, or a related field.
- CFA designation or progress toward attaining the CFA designation.
- Strong analytical, written, oral communication, prioritization, and independent judgment skills.
- Proficiency with Bloomberg, Microsoft Office, and Copilot, plus computer programming or data analytics capabilities.

- Master of Science or Master of Business Administration degree.
