Title Assistant

Location: In office in Corona, California, USA

Salary: $20.31–$27.09 per hour

What you will do

• Support escrow closing processes for builder real estate transactions, including deposits, checks, wires, invoices, pricing, recording fees, and transfer taxes.
• Search, examine, and interpret commercial real estate documents.
• Create and maintain title files and document research findings.
• Conduct title research and compile chains of title.
• Prepare endorsements, supplemental documents, and legal property documents.
• Communicate recording information and route title comments and underwriting requests.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organization, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite and ability to learn new software applications.
• Curiosity and interest in researching transaction history and property records.
• Two or more years of title-related experience preferred.
