Location: Kampala, Uganda, with national and regional travel as required. Current work authorization in Uganda is required; visa sponsorship is not available.

What you will do
- Design and implement data-use and performance-improvement approaches for national and subnational stakeholders.
- Facilitate Ministry of Health data reviews, district performance reviews, data-use clinics, and root-cause analysis sessions.
- Support the use of dashboards and reports covering EMR adoption, reporting timeliness, surveillance, community reporting, facility readiness, and system performance.
- Translate evidence into prioritized improvement actions with owners, deadlines, and follow-up tracking.
- Develop decision-oriented products for Ministry of Health leadership, health informatics teams, program managers, districts, and facilities.
- Coordinate with analytics and data quality teams, document implementation learning, and strengthen local facilitation capacity.
Requirements
- Bachelorβs or masterβs degree in public health, health informatics, epidemiology, monitoring and evaluation, statistics, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in data use, performance improvement, monitoring and evaluation, health information systems, or health systems strengthening.
- Experience facilitating data review meetings, quality-improvement processes, and capacity-building activities.
- Strong facilitation, analytical, presentation, and stakeholder-engagement skills.
- Professional fluency in English is required.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with DHIS2, electronic medical records, dashboards, and routine health data.
