What you will do

• Own the end-to-end customer RFP lifecycle for LTL consolidation and truckload brokerage, from opportunity intake through implementation.
• Develop bid strategies, pricing models, and proposals that balance competitiveness, account growth, profitability, and operational feasibility.
• Analyze freight-market conditions, lane and rate trends, capacity, facility performance, margins, and volume utilization using industry and internal data.
• Manage awarded business in pricing systems, track customer commitments against actuals, and identify repricing, cross-sell, and portfolio-optimization opportunities.
• Partner with sales, carrier procurement, operations, data, technology, and executive leadership on pricing decisions and automation.
• Lead a team and establish scalable pricing processes, SOPs, best practices, and governance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, economics, or a related field; an MBA is preferred.
• 4+ years of experience in transportation or logistics pricing, freight brokerage, carrier procurement, account management, or supply-chain analytics.
• At least 1 year of experience managing teams and demonstrated experience managing transportation RFPs and customer pricing strategies.
• Strong knowledge of freight pricing, capacity dynamics, transportation markets, brokerage operations, and temperature-controlled and ambient LTL.
• Strong analytical, financial-modeling, communication, presentation, and stakeholder-influence skills.
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office and transportation technology platforms.

Nice to have

• Experience pricing multiple modes or service lines, including LTL, truckload, managed transportation, or warehousing.
• Hands-on experience with DAT, Greenscreens, LTL rating engines, TMS/WMS platforms, or pricing automation tools.
• Familiarity with 3PL/4PL managed services and warehousing cost structures.
