What you will do
- Maintain and operate canmaking lines to optimise safety, quality, yield, and equipment utilisation.
- Carry out planned maintenance, breakdown support, and equipment commissioning.
- Respond quickly to line breakdowns in collaboration with shift managers, production managers, and technicians.
- Use SAP MMS to report completed work and support maintenance planning.
- Provide engineering and operational support across the centre and initiate asset improvements.
- Participate in training and train colleagues, including apprentices.
Requirements
- ONC or equivalent qualification.
- Completed time-served apprenticeship.
- Detailed analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary shift team and under pressure.
- Flexible, enthusiastic, self-motivated, positive, and adaptable approach.
- SAP MMS experience.
