What you will do

• Lead daily produce department operations while maintaining product freshness, quality, availability, and merchandising standards.
• Inspect, rotate, cull, label, stock, and replenish produce using FIFO procedures.
• Monitor inventory, support audits, and analyze sales, waste, and shrink data to identify process improvements.
• Conduct routine inspections of produce cases, coolers, and freezers and maintain department equipment and sanitation.
• Execute seasonal promotions, report operational or equipment concerns, and support other departments as needed.
• Provide operational leadership and maintain regular, predictable full attendance without direct supervisory responsibilities.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in produce operations, grocery retail, or food handling.
• Strong knowledge of produce handling, quality standards, and food-safety guidelines.
• Valid ServSafe Food Safety Certification required and must be maintained in good standing.
• Ability to analyze data and identify process improvements, with strong organization and attention to detail.
• Basic proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and email.
• Must be at least 18 years old and maintain all required training and certifications.
