What you will do
- Perform specimen testing, quality control, and preparation and aliquoting of reagents.
- Operate laboratory instruments and equipment and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Monitor equipment performance and complete maintenance according to laboratory protocols.
- Follow quality standards and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Maintain sufficient laboratory inventory of materials, supplies, and equipment.
- Assist in building and establishing GRAIL’s Clinical Laboratory and support other laboratory duties.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Laboratory Science, Clinical Science, or a related field.
- Experience with molecular diagnostics and next-generation sequencing.
- Strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a quality-focused approach.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays when required by the Clinical Laboratory schedule.
