Materials Supervisor

What you will do

• Manage internal material flow from receiving and inspection through production line presentation, end-of-line shipping, and intra-plant deliveries.
• Develop and implement standard processes and strategies that improve production efficiency.
• Lead, supervise, train, coach, and mentor materials staff while supporting improvement priorities and KPIs.
• Manage daily warehousing operations, including staging, storage, replenishment, order picking, and cycle counting.
• Oversee inventory control, material presentation, transactional accuracy, bar coding, RFID, and fill-rate performance.
• Partner with Quality, Purchasing, Planning, and Production to resolve quality and delivery issues and maintain appropriate staffing levels.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• At least two years of materials leadership experience.
• At least two years of experience leading teams, developing people, or organizing tasks.
• Experience with SAP or an equivalent ERP system such as Oracle, JD Edwards, or Microsoft Dynamics is preferred.
• Microsoft Office experience is preferred.
