Toxicologist, Senior Specialist (Chemical Safety)

What you will do

• Monitor and follow up on physicochemical, environmental fate, and ecotoxicological testing at CRO laboratories.
• Analyze and interpret chemical safety data for hazard classification under global and domestic GHS standards, including UN GHS.
• Work with R&D teams to evaluate toxicological hazards and exposure risks associated with new chemistries and manufacturing processes.
• Compile and present toxicological and exposure data in Chemical Safety Reports for APAC chemical registrations using tools such as CET.
• Provide health-related use-application risk assessments for hirify.global products and downstream applications.

Requirements

• University degree in chemistry, biochemistry, environmental science, toxicology, or a related field.
• Experience preparing chemical registration dossiers, including EU REACH and APAC regulations.
• Experience managing standardized testing programs under OECD Guidelines and GLP.
• Knowledge of global chemical regulations, with a background in organic chemistry, analytical methods, or polymer synthesis.
• Strong skills in teamwork and managing projects, priorities, budgets, and timelines.

Nice to have

• Higher degree or prior industrial experience.
• Experience with UVCBs, polymers, exposure modeling, and China new chemical substance risk assessments using CET.
• Familiarity with QSAR, chemical grouping, and cheminformatics tools.
• Technical communication skills in Japanese or Korean.
