Musculoskeletal Radiologist

Location: Tufts Medical Center, Boston, Massachusetts; on-site presence required with partial remote work available. Weekend plain-film on-call duties are remote.

Salary: $440,000–$535,000 annually

What you will do

• Interpret musculoskeletal MR and CT scans, bone and joint X-rays, and limited musculoskeletal and soft-tissue ultrasound studies.
• Perform basic musculoskeletal procedures, including joint injections, aspirations, and arthrograms.
• Provide radiology services in a Level 1 trauma center and participate in multidisciplinary and educational conferences.
• Teach radiology residents and medical students.
• Contribute to clinical research and quality improvement projects with residents and medical students.
• Work on-site with department members during weekday shifts from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM; remote weekend plain-film on-call coverage is also required.

Requirements

• MD, DO, MBBS, or equivalent medical degree.
• Board eligibility or board certification by the American Board of Radiology or American Osteopathic Board of Radiology.
• Completed, current, or scheduled completion of a musculoskeletal radiology fellowship.
• Medical licensure or eligibility in Massachusetts is required.
• Strong experience interpreting musculoskeletal MR and CT scans and performing basic musculoskeletal procedures.
