Senior Clinical Research Associate (Clinical Research)

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands; candidates must be based in the Netherlands. Home-based role with on-site visits 6–9 days per month and nationwide travel.

What you will do

• Manage clinical trial sites and monitoring activities across the Netherlands.
• Work with sites to adapt, drive, and track subject recruitment plans.
• Provide protocol and study training to assigned sites.
• Create and maintain monitoring visit reports and action plans.
• Co-monitor, train, and mentor junior team members when appropriate.
• Work with a single sponsor across approximately 1–2 protocols and around 10 sites.

Requirements

• Degree in Life Sciences.
• At least 3 years of independent on-site monitoring experience.
• Experience handling multiple protocols across varied drug indications.
• In-depth GCP knowledge and strong time-management skills.
• Flexibility to travel nationwide and a full, clean driving licence.
• Fluent English and Dutch are required.

Nice to have

• Experience in oncology, neurology, immunology, or diabetes studies.
• Experience co-monitoring, training, or mentoring junior clinical research staff.
