Head of News & Politics Partnerships

Location: Remote, or based in Washington, D.C., New York City, San Francisco, or Los Angeles

Salary: $190,000–$250,000 annually, plus equity and benefits

What you will do

• Grow and manage the News & Politics category by recruiting and advising leading creators.
• Develop strategic programs that activate creators, attract users, and support existing hirify.global publishers.
• Scale best practices for social media strategy, audience development, and digital content.
• Partner with communications, product, data, business operations, marketing, and leadership teams to improve creator outreach and onboarding.
• Support events, brand initiatives, and marketing programs that position hirify.global as a home for new media.
• Lead strategy, budgets, external relationships, goal execution, and team management for the market.

Requirements

• 10 years of professional experience in news, publishing, or politics.
• Established connections across the news and politics industries.
• Experience managing a team and working directly with creators.
• Excellent written, verbal, and diplomatic communication skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to use data to measure impact and improve programs.
• Ability to manage multiple projects effectively under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
