What you will do
- Analyze electricity market trends and other ISO/RTO market rules to inform market design decisions.
- Design, analyze, and optimize market structures and rules across PJM markets.
- Conduct complex independent studies and develop innovative market strategies.
- Prepare position papers and presentations on complex market design alternatives.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and build consensus across interdisciplinary teams and market participants.
- Support governing-document revisions and FERC filings, including transmittal letters and affidavits, in collaboration with legal counsel.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Economics, Mathematics, or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in an engineering or analyst position.
- Experience with quantitative and qualitative analysis, mathematical theory, and electrical theory.
- Ability to produce detailed, high-quality work products, troubleshoot issues, and provide technical support.
- Hybrid work in Audubon, Pennsylvania, United States.
- Immigration sponsorship is not available; PJM is not STEM OPT eligible.
Nice to have
- Master’s degree in Engineering or at least 8 years of experience as a senior engineer or senior analyst.
- Experience with PJM operations, markets, and planning functions.
