Accounts Payable Manager

Location: Hybrid in the San Francisco Bay Area, USA; three full days per week in the San Francisco office, with the remaining days worked remotely. Availability during agreed working hours and sufficient time-zone overlap are required.

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end Procure-to-Pay process, from purchase requisitions and vendor onboarding through invoice processing and payment.
• Design scalable purchasing, approval, vendor management, invoice, and payment workflows.
• Build internal controls, maintain audit-ready documentation, and support internal and external audits.
• Drive AP-related month-end close activities, including accruals and account reconciliations.
• Optimize the AP technology stack, automate manual processes, and improve reporting and data quality.
• Build, manage, and develop the Accounts Payable team while partnering with Finance leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in Accounts Payable or Procure-to-Pay, including experience in a high-growth B2B SaaS or AI company.
• Experience managing an AP or broader accounting team.
• Strong knowledge of internal controls, audit readiness, and GAAP as applied to Accounts Payable.
• Experience implementing or optimizing AP/P2P systems and process automation.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, project management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Builder mentality with a focus on operational excellence and continuous improvement.

• Hands-on experience with NetSuite.
• Experience with Ramp.
